At our laboratory, our commitment to rigorous testing is unwavering. Our extensive inventory boasts over 3,000 meticulously maintained pieces of equipment, exclusive of consumables. Leveraging a sophisticated computerized database, we proactively monitor equipment status, ensuring compliance with relevant standards through timely maintenance and calibration protocols. Each piece undergoes meticulous scrutiny, with procedures meticulously documented and adhered to without exception.
Maintenance and calibration routines are conducted prior to every use, with frequencies tailored to meet specific requirements, be it weekly, monthly, or annually. Our comprehensive approach extends to calibration services, conducted either in-house by our proficient and adept personnel or through esteemed third-party accredited entities, as dictated by necessity.
In the pursuit of excellence, we spare no effort in acquiring state-of-the-art equipment tailored to meet the demands of evolving testing needs. Emphasizing quality and reliability, all acquisitions undergo stringent evaluation, ensuring adherence to our exacting standards prior to procurement.
Our Premises
Solidbase’s central location on the island ensures convenient accessibility. Unlike many laboratories, our facility was purpose-built as a laboratory, eliminating the makeshift setup in converted spaces like garages or warehouses. We prioritize optimal ambient conditions not only during testing but also for sample conditioning. To achieve this, we have separate, air-conditioned laboratories and cordoned-off areas, creating independent ambient controlled environments. For instance, in cement testing, where even minor temperature fluctuations can impact results, we maintain precise temperature and humidity control.
Our advanced automated monitoring technology ensures constant monitoring of cube tank temperatures. Additionally, we emphasize meticulous sample handling, storage, and preparation. We have a dedicated cube reception area, distinct from the main laboratory, for de-moulding concrete cubes. Heavy equipment is housed in an adjacent yard, ensuring efficient sample handling. Dedicated locations for stores and offices, directly accessible from the laboratory, further streamline our operations.
